You are a Miracle
Look at this beautiful picture. The fourth miracle in my womb. How it is possible that this is how we all began? How is it that the Lord, “created our inmost being; knit us together in our mother’s womb?counted every hair on our heads?” How is it that He created each one of us with unconditional, intentional, perfect love? How is it that there will never once again be another one of us, and that we are each unique and irreplaceable creatures? Hearing our beautiful babies heartbeat and seeing his perfectly formed tiny features this week brought me to that overwhelming sense of gratitude and wonder. It reminded me of the walking miracles we all are. Especially in my work as a Fertility Care Practitioner, I see the longing for new life in our wombs women have, and how many things must go perfectly in place for that to happen. Again, the miracle of us all.
Today, remember the miracle. Remember Gods perfect love and care He had to breathe life into you from the womb. Remember how important, unique and irreplaceable your life is. Picture yourself as that tiny baby with those tiny details in your own mother’s womb. Picture your brothers and sisters around you the same. I promise that vision will bring more peace and unity than division, and will remind us of our loving equality and unified roots as perfectly loved babies from the womb.
Today, praise Jesus for this gift of motherhood, and plead for those who long for it that God will answer their prayers. Praise Jesus for gift of technology which allows us to see these miracles, and use them for the good. Praise Jesus for the gift of your life, and for the gift of the life of the next person you see.
Today, as the rain falls, and as the weekend begins, feel Jesus’ presence in the details of your day, just as His presence in the details of your perfectly loved body He knit in your mother’s womb. Praise Him for the most precious gift of all of human life. For we know there will never be too many of us, and there will never be another one of us. May this picture among the flowers remind us of Mother Teresa, “How can there be too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers.” ❤️Life is a gift 🙌🏻
