Fertility Culture of Life Booklist
Ladies, on this week of the momentous March for Life, I want to share with you some recommended reading that may lead you to a greater appreciation for the gift of life. I truly believe that as we come to understand the unique, complex, beautiful design of our feminine nature, we will not only become better educated for the defense of our sex, but pioneers for the culture of life. It is pivotal that we “start at the beginning.” Learn the power of the female cycle. The power that comes with acceptance and understanding. Learn the intricacies of the winter, spring, summer and fall that are naturally created within you. This is how we will help our fellow women take back the power to their health and their bodies. I plea you to start researching, start reading, start experimenting with the natural way of living. Interview friends who have experienced the effects of pills, implants and devices. Interview friends who are using natural family planning methods in their marriages. Research post-abortion syndrome. Research NaproTechnology. Every woman deserves to know and understand her own body. My dream is for all women to know the empowerment that comes with understanding your “5th vital sign,” without fear, without suppression. Nothing is perfect, but remember what true freedom is, and remember what is truly liberating. Let us start by learning the truth about our fertility, our menstrual cycles, and the beginning of life. I want you to feel knowledgable, honored and empowered. I want you to know and understand what options you have. This is the path to the true pro-woman, pro-love, pro-feminist, pro-life culture.
I am hopeful to start sharing more fertility resources and experience with you on this blog, but here may be a small place to start. These books are meant to get you thinking, and provide reference points for natural fertility. Some of them I read years ago at the beginning of my own fertility awareness journey. Of course they are not gospel, but reading with an open mind may be the opening door to truth!
