Beauty in Advent 2020 Ideas

My first three #beautyofAdvent home tips:
1. Advent wreath – we started this a few years with the kids. Simple and memorable. Bought ours from Hobby Lobby, we keep it centerpiece of the kitchen table. We light the candle at dinner & our oldest reads the Advent reflection. Takes less than 5 minutes & VERY candle captivating for the kids 😘
2. St. Andrew’s Christmas Novena – we’re starting this year in honor of our baby Andrew! 💙 We’re using our prayer card from The Catholic Family Crate keeping it displayed on our family alter! (follow them for ideas & use my affiliate link in bio to subscribe! ;)
3. Start small. One candle, one Advent book, one corner idea. As a new mom, I was overwhelmed seeing Advent book bins, and traditions I never heard of. The idea of getting Christmas shopping done before Advent (which I still haven’t done!) separating Christmas season from Advent season and entering into a season of waiting were ALL new to me. I’ve learned to take one small step, one piece of beauty.
